Bookings Open for Isuzu MU 7 and D Max


Isuzu has started taking bookings for MU-7 (SUV) and D-Max (pick-up) in India. Being their first products in the market, Isuzu is aiming at creating their own benchmark in the SUV & Light Truck category in India. The Japanese manufacturer has operations in other Asia Pacific countries like Thailand where they have set an identity in the said category. The MU-7 is a full sized SUV that competes directly with the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. It has that old school boxy SUV styling and has that massive appearance. MU-7 is priced at 24.16 lakhs (Ex-Showroom Hyderabad).

The D-Max is a light pick-up truck and is aimed at bringing more competition in the category. It comes as a lifestyle product which is famous in other A-Pac markets. Pick-Up category is not that famous and impressive with the Indian customers. There are only two competitors for the D-Max which are the Tata Xenon and the Mahindra Scorpio Getaway. D-Max is priced at Rs 6.87 lakh for the single cab version and Rs 8.09 lakh for the double cab version.
